Job Mission: You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives for defined accounts within the 'Northern' team in the West Midlands and Wales. You will represent Stryker as a leader in our industry and the marketplace by building and maintaining strong business relationships with key surgeons and HCPs. You will need to manage high-volume activity, drive market growth, and implement cross-divisional strategies to capture new business growth.

Geography and location: The job is based primarily in Cardiff, Newport, and Worcestershire areas.

Key Activities & Accountabilities:

  • Outperform the market by gaining market share for Stryker Joint Replacement products and exceeding sales targets.
  • Maximize current joint replacement business by engaging existing customers and developing strategic business plans.
  • Develop relationships with potential new customers through presentations and discussions about Stryker's philosophy and product benefits. Meet all hip/knee replacement surgeons within the first 6 months.
  • Become a product expert by passing the JR101 course within 6 weeks, and further developing knowledge through JR201 and JR301 courses within 12 months.
  • Lead in theatre joint replacement procedures, providing staff training and support.
  • Research, develop, and execute territory-specific business plans aligned with corporate goals, with measurable outcomes and personal development plans.
  • Proactively collaborate across franchises to optimize opportunities and strengthen customer relationships.

Experience required:

  • Sales experience, ideally in medical sales or joint replacement.
  • Understanding of budget and cost issues related to theatres and surgical procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and presentation skills.
  • Workshop, demonstration, and training skills.
  • Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
