Job description

Sales Representative (Renewable Energy)
Location: Nottingham based, with travel for site visits
Salary: £30,000 + commission
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Your Role:

Working closely with the Sales Manager and wider technical team, your role will involve:

  • Following up on leads generated through marketing and inbound channels

  • Reaching out to prospective customers as part of our outbound sales efforts

  • Understanding customer needs to qualify them for surveys and site assessments

  • Conducting pre-sales site visits and customer consultations

  • Developing tailored proposals for solar PV, battery, EV and heat pump systems

  • Supporting customers through the decision-making and installation process

  • Building long-term relationships to encourage repeat business



Skills Required:

We're looking for someone who's proactive, customer-focused, and eager to succeed. You'll need:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • A well-organised and self-motivated approach to work

  • A proven background in sales, ideally in a technical or consultative environment

  • A full UK driving licence

  • (Desirable) Experience in solar energy sales

  • (Desirable) Familiarity with the construction or energy sector
