Simple Recruitment are looking for a Sales Representative for a permanent opportunity with our client near Bath.

Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm
This role is offered with a hybrid set up: 3 days from the office and 2 days from home.

The Job:
Starting as an Internal Sales Representative, you will gain valuable experience and knowledge about our products, services, and customer base. This role will provide you with the foundational skills needed to excel in sales, including telephone prospecting, creating quotations, and supporting the sales team.

After demonstrating your capabilities and completing one year in the internal sales role, you will transition to an External Sales position (2-4 days approx per month). In this role, you will take on more responsibilities, such as conducting face-to-face visits with clients, managing a larger sales area, and playing a key role in driving business growth. This progression allows you to build strong relationships with customers, develop strategic sales plans, and contribute significantly to the company’s success.

About You:

  • Over one year of experience in an internal sales function
  • A willingness to learn and improve the quality of service and documentation.
  • Strong IT skills with good working knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform
  • Willing to travel to cover a large sales area based from the office/ factory near Bath (after one year)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work on own initiative
  • Outgoing, confident and willing to learn
  • Ideally you would have experience with a technical product (mechanical and electrical)
