Job summary

Snap Fitness Herne Bay is seeking a Sales Receptionist to be the first point of contact for members and prospective members, driving memberships and supporting a welcoming gym environment.

The role requires a friendly, organised, and sales-focused approach with duties from tours and sign-ups to social media support and event promotion. 30 hours per week, full-time with shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, or fitness is helpful but not essential.
• Attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn are more important.
• Comfortable using digital systems and social platforms.

Responsibilities

• Convert enquiries, walk-ins and trials into memberships.
• Deliver confident, professional tours of the gym.
• Provide a warm, consistent welcome to members and visitors.
• Support member retention through follow-ups and engagement.

The Role

As a Sales Receptionist, you will be the main point of contact for members and prospective members and play an active role in the commercial and cultural success of the gym.

This is not a passive reception role. You will contribute to:

• Membership sales and conversion
• Member engagement and retention
• Creating an inspiring, community-led gym environment

Key Responsibilities

• Converting enquiries, walk-ins, and trials into memberships
• Delivering confident, professional tours of the gym
• Providing a warm, consistent welcome to members and visitors
