Escape Recruitment Services - Job Opportunity: Production Coordinator

Salary Range: Up to £30,000 + Excellent Benefits

Escape Recruitment Services is recruiting for our client, a manufacturing/production organisation based in South Lanarkshire. We have an opportunity for a Sales & Production Coordinator to join the team on a permanent full-time basis. The role is based onsite with a 37.5-hour workweek over four days, Monday to Thursday.

This role involves working between the Sales & Customer Service team and Production to ensure a seamless supply chain process, minimising delays to meet customer demand.

Responsibilities Include:
  1. Manage and update the master sales order list, ensuring efficient distribution and prioritisation to relevant departments.
  2. Organise and adjust production schedules based on customer orders and demands.
  3. Attend weekly internal progress meetings to track and communicate updates.
  4. Communicate production issues or delays with internal departments.
  5. Serve as the central contact point for sales order management across Sales, Customer Service, Production, Procurement, and Management.
  6. Identify and implement process reviews and improvements.
Skills & Experience Required:
  1. Experience in a similar administration role, ideally within manufacturing, production, or supply chain environments.
  2. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  3. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  4. A proactive, problem-solving mindset capable of foreseeing and addressing potential issues.
  5. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands.
  6. Confident IT skills, especially MS Excel.
