This role is within the sporting retail sector. You will guide customers in our client s product range, with a strong focus on their state of the art Autonomous Robotic Linemarkers.
WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU?Annual Base Salary of Circa GBP35k per annum. Negotiable DOE.

THE BUSINESSOur client specialises within the sporting retail field. Working together across multiple areas of expertise, our client s companies offer the widest, most comprehensive choice for achieving success across all aspects of sports turf, amenity and lawncare requirements. Our clients group manufacturing capability provides a solid foundation to lead the market in both solid and liquid nutrition, specialities and Line Marking paints and equipment.
THE ROLE- Practically support our client s Sales team, where appropriate, to promote and sell all relevant Linemarking products and services.
- Help provide training and support for our client s teams and assist with customer interactions where required.
- Attend internal and external sales meetings, training sessions and trade shows within the UK and further as required.
- Work with the Product Manager (Linemarking) to identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory.
- Ensure actions arising from customer visits are followed up in a timely manner and ongoing records of such visits are made and maintained.
- Contribute to new product development and marketing approach in relation to Linemarking sector.
Robot Linemarkers (TLM)- Undertake demonstrations/ installations of Robot Linemarkers
- Provide training and support for our clients Robot customers to help build relationships and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Carry out on and offsite repair/upgrade/maintenance to Robot Linemarkers where necessary.
- Keep up to date with all ongoing product improvements and software developments.
- Maintain and manage an adequate stock of spares for onsite repair as required.
Linemarking paint and Pedestrian machines.- Take every opportunity to champion Linemarking paint to maximise sales opportunities.
- Develop a full technical understanding of paint manufacture and performance, including specifications, nozzle selection usage requirements and storage issues.
- Provide training and support for our client s customers to help build relationships and maintain customer satisfaction.
THE PERSON- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- A passion for sport is a huge bonus
- Comfortable use of basic hand tools to repair/ upgrade machinery.
- Excellent presentational and communication skills
- A can do attitude and self-motivation are essential in this role as it will require a lot of individual initiative and unsupervised work
- Strong computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office functions, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Clean UK driving licence, with willingness for large levels of travel and overnight stays as required
