Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Sales Order Processor/Administrator company Wallingford, Oxfordshire

Location: Wallingford, Oxfordshire

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch break)

Key Responsibilities of the Sales Order Processor/Administrator:

  • Provide full administrative support to the sales team.
  • Process all sales quotations, enquiries, and orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Log and escalate any customer enquiries that cannot be resolved immediately, ensuring all follow-ups are recorded.
  • Support field sales with generating quotations and handling customer communications.
  • Produce quotes for remedial or extra works based on input from engineers or internal sources.
  • Manage and maintain the sales pipeline; follow up on quotations and liaise with clients at all levels.
  • Prepare documentation for won quotations before handover to operations.
  • Take action on requests resulting from field sales reports and meetings.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation for all related sales activity.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure customer needs are met seamlessly.
  • Assist the accounts team with any customer-related queries or disputes.
  • Report and help resolve any customer complaints or satisfaction issues promptly.
  • Undertake any additional tasks assigned by the Line Manager.

About you:

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and confident telephone manner.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Experience with Google Suite preferred.
  • Familiarity with Simpro or similar systems is an advantage (full training provided).
  • Background or understanding of the sector is beneficial, but not essential.
