Sales Order Processor – A Key Role Bridging the gap between Sales, Production, and Delivery.

Are you a detail-oriented and responsible individual who thrives in a collaborative environment? We are recruiting for a critical role within a dynamic team where your efforts will directly contribute to the smooth flow of operations and customer satisfaction.

Role Overview:

As a Sales Order Processor, you will be the bridge between sales, production, and delivery, ensuring that each order is processed accurately and on time. Your role will directly impact our customer experience, production efficiency, and delivery reliability. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a meticulous eye for detail, and demonstrates accountability and care in every task.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Processing:

  • Process customer orders within 24 hours of receipt.

  • Ensure all details (product codes, colours, fabrics, delivery addresses) are correct and complete.

  • Liaise with Sales to resolve missing or incorrect information.

Purchase Order Management:

  • Create and issue purchase orders to suppliers, ensuring timely delivery to meet customer deadlines.

  • Monitor expected deliveries and proactively chase late deliveries.

Order Amendments & Replacements:

  • Process any amendments, replacements, or corrections in a timely manner.

  • Communicate changes clearly with relevant teams (Production, Transport, and Customer Service).

Production & Transport Coordination:

  • Provide Production Scheduling with accurate expected delivery dates.

  • Create T-cards for the Transport Scheduler’s board with up-to-date information.

  • Inform internal teams and customers of any delays or changes.

What we are looking for in a Sales Order Processor / Account Manager:

  • All orders within 24 hours of entry so efficiency and accuracy is key

  • Monitor and resolve any issues with deliveries or orders.

  • Maintain clean records and audit trails.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in order processing or a similar role.

  • Strong attention to detail with a passion for accuracy.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with different teams.

  • Proactive and solution-driven, especially in fast-paced environments.

  • Experience with any kind of order management systems is an advantage.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Salary:

  • £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
