The function drives efficiency, scalability, and data-driven decision-making across the sales organisation by optimising processes, systems, and governance.The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for maximising sales productivity and effectiveness within a defined business segment by owning forecasting, planning, performance management, and operational execution. This role partners closely with Sales Leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure disciplined pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and continuous process improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesForecasting & Pipeline ManagementOwn forecast cadence, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and transparency across pipeline, backlog, and bookingsMonitor pipeline health and conversion trends; proactively identify risks and opportunitiesPerformance Management & AnalyticsAnalyse sales performance metrics and deliver actionable insights to Sales DirectorsDevelop and maintain reporting packs, including QBRs, dashboards, and executive summariesSupport resource allocation and territory optimisation through data-driven recommendationsPlanning & GovernanceSupport annual planning, quota setting, and target allocationDrive account planning discipline and execution in partnership with sales leadershipProvide forward-looking insights for budgeting and operational planning cyclesData & Systems OwnershipEnsure data integrity across CRM and ERP systems to enable accurate reporting and forecastingOversee system adoption, usage standards, and continuous process optimisationManage and resolve sales operations workflow issues and escalationsProcess OptimisationIdentify inefficiencies across the sales lifecycle and implement scalable, standardised processesDrive operational excellence initiatives across the region (e.g., EMEA alignment)Establish and enforce best practices for deal management, renewals, and pipeline hygieneLeadership & Stakeholder EngagementPartner with Sales Directors/Managers to drive execution against strategic prioritiesInfluence senior stakeholders through data-backed insights and recommendationsLead and develop a high-performing sales operations capabilityQualifications & ExperienceStrong experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or commercial strategy rolesAdvanced proficiency in CRM/ERP systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)Strong analytical capability with experience translating data into business impactProven ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with high attention to detailExcellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadershipAbout Insight:We believe that by giving you the freedom to think big and empower you to reach your full potential, together we will achieve the best outcomes.
