Sales Operations Leader EMEAI
Job Description

This is a newly created role for BU Emergency Care, which will be carved out from Philips at the end of 2025. The Sales Operations Leader will play a pivotal role in setting up the new organization, with a strong focus on operational excellence of the sales organization. In this role, you will become a vital part of our highly ambitious and energetic Emergency Care Team while working closely with our Partner community.

Your role:
  1. Works closely with commercial management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for sales process improvement.
  2. Investigates process bottlenecks and inconsistencies, steers cross-functional work on permanent improvement, and serves as an escalation point for short-term resolution.
  3. Proactively monitors and analyzes performance to assist commercial leadership in maximizing opportunities and optimizing plans to achieve targets.
  4. Structures and owns the channel partner onboarding process in the region.
  5. Owns the periodic channel partner contracting cycle in the region.
  6. Responsible for designing and implementing partner training programs on sales behaviors (e.g., Customer-focused selling) and tools (e.g., new SFDC releases or Analytics).
  7. Ensures CRM and sales automation tools are optimized and effectively used.
  8. Provides analytical and operational support for the development, execution, and monitoring of sales performance scorecards and dashboards.
  9. Leads sales improvement projects aligned with business priorities.
  10. Manages and nurtures the regional sales operations and contracts team.
  11. Drives continuous improvement via Lean methodologies, including the adoption of new ways of working, processes, and procedures.
You're the right fit if:
  • University Degree (MSc) in business or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 7 years' exposure to sales, sales management, and sales performance coaching, sales excellence.
  • Experience in medtech or health-related fields is preferred.
  • Experience working with channel partners is essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good working knowledge of IT systems, tools, and processes related to order management, quoting, and sales operations.
  • Ability to independently handle complex issues requiring in-depth analysis of situations or data.
  • Certified LEAN Advanced or equivalent at minimum.
  • Proven ability to influence others and gain acceptance in sensitive situations without damaging relationships.
  • Exercises independent judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria.
  • Highly developed stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally.
  • Proven ability to work successfully in a virtual, multicultural environment.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in other major EMEAI languages is a plus.
How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively performed outside of the main facilities, typically at customer or supplier locations.
