Job Description

  • Direct management of the Customer Service & Internal Sales functions based in Leeds
  • Ensure customer quotations are accurate and meet customer needs and expectations
  • Drive up-selling activity across customer orders, ensuring customers are aware of all product ranges available
  • Ensure the team has all necessary product information, training, and tools to provide suitable customer options
  • Follow up on customer quotations, manage and achieve conversion rates
  • Take ownership of escalated customer issues, resolving them promptly with minimal impact
  • Build customer loyalty through transparent communication and world-class service
  • Support Sales Managers as required
  • Collaborate with purchasing to understand stock and product availability
  • Monitor, manage, and improve customer satisfaction results

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience in management or supervisory roles within internal sales or customer service, ideally in supply chain or distribution sectors
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (desirable)
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Customer-focused approach
  • Ability to build strong internal stakeholder relationships
  • Experience in the chemical industry (desirable)
