As a leading Specialist Construction Products Recruiter, SRS Recruitment Solutions are instructed on a Sole Agency basis by a leading Manufacturer of Civil Engineering and Infrastructure Products who due to continued success in the UK are seeking to recruit a SALES & MARKETING DIRECTOR.

Role Overview

Our Client is seeking an experienced and results driven Sales and Marketing Director to lead our commercial strategy in the highly competitive construction industry.

This role is critical in driving revenue growth, market share, and brand positioning across all lines of business.

The ideal candidate will bring deep industry knowledge, strategic thinking, and proven leadership in building high-performing sales and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement a cohesive, high-performance sales strategy to drive revenue growth across all product types and ranges.
  • Sales Leadership & Strategy: Set ambitious yet achievable targets, ensuring they are consistently met or exceeded through structured team leadership and effective execution.
  • Sales Leadership & Strategy: The ability to monitor market trends and competitor activity is essential to stay ahead of the curve and identify new sales opportunities.
  • Sales Leadership & Strategy: Identify and pursue new business opportunities across public and private sector clients.
  • Sales Leadership & Strategy: Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or a related field is desirable
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in sales and marketing roles within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of the construction market, including bidding, tendering, and client relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of the Construction Distribution market.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving marketing ROI.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and negotiation abilities.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, BI tools, digital marketing tools.
