Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales and Marketing Assistant to join our team. This role will support our sales and marketing efforts, including managing social media accounts, updating our website with news stories, assisting with sales expos and conventions, handling expo paperwork, ordering brochures and other supplies, and providing general sales assistance. Technical knowledge of NDT or other engineering/automation is a plus.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Social Media Management:
    1. Develop, curate, and manage engaging content for our social media platforms.
    2. Monitor social media channels for industry trends and competitor activities.
    3. Respond to social media inquiries and engage with followers.
  2. Website Management:
    1. Update the company website with news stories, product updates, and other relevant content (WordPress).
    2. Ensure website content is current, accurate, and engaging.
  3. Marketing:
    1. Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and newsletters.
    2. Coordinate the production and ordering of promotional items and supplies.
    3. Arrange for production of publicity material, advertising material, newsletters, press releases etc.
  4. Sales Expo and Convention Support:
    1. Assist in planning and organizing sales expos, conventions, and other events.
    2. Handle expo paperwork, registrations, and logistics.
    3. Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for sales team members attending events.
    4. Ensure timely delivery of brochures, promotional materials, and other supplies to event locations.
  5. General Sales Assistance:
    1. Support the sales team with lead generation, follow-ups, and customer inquiries.
    2. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
    3. Prepare sales reports and presentations as needed.
Qualifications
  1. 1-2 years of experience in sales and marketing roles, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment.
  2. Strong understanding of social media platforms and website management.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  6. Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing software.
  7. Basic knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) technology and automation is an advantage.
