Job Summary/Purpose

The Sales Administrator is responsible for effectively carrying out all sales-related administration and responding to general and development sales enquiries via telephone, email, and written communication.

The administration functions include, but are not limited to, processing sales data using business unit and Taylor Wimpey UK Limited reporting systems, producing reports, and adhering to company protocols regarding these systems. It also includes maintaining filing records for sales data in accordance with company procedures.

  • Provide admin support for the Sales Director and Sales Manager.
  • Maintain an accurate order log of sales-related orders for order number provision and control.
  • Support Sales managers with site setups and related activities.
  • Distribute sales-related information within the business to other departments as required.
  • Act as a point of contact for the distribution of information to Sales Executives from the business unit offices.
  • Assist the Marketing Executive with web activity as needed.
Primary Responsibilities
Sales Data Processing System
  • Ensure all development details entered into the system are accurate.
  • Maintain records of all customers and sales.
  • Produce weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports for management.
  • Maintain digital backups and physical records of information.
Sales Administration
  • Coordinate information distribution between Sales & Marketing and other departments within the business unit.
  • Produce timely and accurate Completion Statements for legal and finance functions.
  • Record all sales events regularly.
  • Coordinate sales support materials for each development.
  • Support the setup of new developments for Sales Managers and the Sales & Marketing Director.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team and management.
  • Manage general sales department filing.
  • Raise orders for Sales and Marketing as required.
  • Fulfill brochure requests within 24 hours.
  • Keep price lists updated and distributed weekly.
Experience, Qualifications, Technical Requirements
  • Experience with IT-based administration systems.
  • Ability to work in a time-critical environment.
  • Administrative experience.
  • Full UK driving license.
