A leading company in cloud-based solutions seeks a Sales Manager to drive market penetration in the UK Altnet sector. You will lead customer relations, implement sales strategies, and interact with executive clients, focusing on value-based solutions. The Sales Manager will lead the customer relationship and account strategy, participate in developing complex solutions, establish competitive value and drive closure.
Responsible for defining, creating and executing a successful Go To Market Strategy to penetrate the UK Altnet market and deliver maximum revenue potential for Calix Platforms
Leading a remote and virtual team to close new business and extend Calix position in existing accounts
Managing all stages of the sales cycle and orchestrating successful account and opportunity strategies leading to Sales growth in the territory
Managing the customer relationships at all levels and leading the team in developing complex solutions, establish competitive value, and drive closure
Demonstrable success in value-based selling and strategic account management with a proven ability to negotiate multi-year complex business relationships with senior client executives, including the CEO, CFO, CIO, Board of Directors, and evaluation committees
Desired Experience:
5+ years of quota carrying value-based technology sales and market development experience with proven ability to grow new business
In-depth understanding of the UK Broadband market specifically the Altnet market with a proven record of successfully penetrating and winning in the Altnet space
Referenceable C-Level relationships across the altnet market in particular, CEO, CMO, CRO and CTO
Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions with disruptive technology
Cloud, Software, Systems and Services sales experience
Candidates must be competitive, cooperative, collaborative and work well with customers both internal and external.
Skills
Bachelor or University Degree strongly preferred
Strong understanding of Broadband technologies and Broadband go to market strategies
Comfortable and compelling both on the phone and in the boardroom
Excellent Presentation skills
In depth experience with MS365 and SFDC
Location:
Regional Travel is required, approximately 50%-75%
