Location:Offices in Liverpool City Centre and Bromborough, Wirral

Working model:Hybrid / Remote working. Monday to Friday.

We work with some of the biggest names in sport including Liverpool FC, Manchester City, Manchester United, Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur, Everton FC, Newcastle United, British & Irish Lions, and The Welsh Rugby Union to name just a few. Our business is built on innovation and driving change in how sports clubs communicate with their supporters. With a deep understanding of fan behaviour and the challenges that clubs face, we offer a whole range of engagement solutions and services that solve pain points and help brands achieve their goals.

Over the last 15 years we have continued to grow and create a name within the world of sports as a key supplier with an entire eco-system of services and systems. Now with over 50 professional sports clubs as active clients we’re showing no signs of slowing and are always pushing forward with new and innovative solutions.

The Role

We are looking for an ambitious and passionate salesperson to play a key part in driving the awareness and sales of our proprietary technology solutions within global sports and entertainment institutions. Fourth Wall’s exciting tech stack has been built by industry experts to solve common problems faced by sports clubs, and plays a pivotal part in achieving global engagement, building immersive digital experiences, creating new revenue channels and eliminating security risks.

You’ll work with our commercial team to identify opportunities and then lead the charge when it comes to door opening and establishing relationships within the target markets. You’ll take ownership of the sales pipeline, creating new relationships, nurturing existing, and taking clients on a journey of awareness through to deal closing.

You’ll get to work hand-in-hand with our commercial, technology and strategy teams to shape proposals, identify markets, and position our solutions in way that resonates with clients.

About You

We’re looking for someone with considerable experience in a similar sales role. You’ll need to be prepared to embrace our technology solutions and really understand the benefits they bring, only then will you be in a position to sell it. You’ll enjoy rising to a challenge and be hungry to close deals, whilst not being afraid to chase down leads and establish meaningful relationships.

An interest or experience in sport is beneficial, if you understand a fan you’ll understand the importance of what we do.

Key must haves include:

  • A good understanding of the part technology plays in sport and the impact it can have in driving engagement levels, simplifying processes and creating revenue channels for clients.
  • Previous agency experience ideal, selling a variety of apps, platforms and solutions.
  • A proven track record in delivering high value, long lead sales.
  • Experience of dealing with people in large sports institutions or corporate establishments is ideal so that you understand the nuances of how to navigate the landscape.
  • Demonstrable experience in chasing down and closing deals in the technology arena.
  • Ability to quickly grasp what the tech can deliver.
  • Confident in presenting the solutions to clients in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner, demonstrating their value and benefits. Confident in conducting technical demonstrations to showcase the capabilities of the solutions.
  • Ability to form relationships quickly and become a go to person when clients have ‘asks’ and aren’t sure where to turn.
  • Previous experience in selling software-based tech, ideally into large establishments.
  • A great communicator who can provide clear updates to business stakeholders and clients alike, managing processes from both sides.
  • Experience in creating pipelines and identifying key clients, whilst reporting regular updates within the business.
  • The ability to negotiate terms for high value long term contracts (5 years+), a focus on closing deals and driving the process through to long form contract completion and establishing long term relationships with clients.
  • A full UK valid driving license.

  • Salary: OTE of £85,000 (£45,000 base salary + company car)

This is a full-time role, 5 days a week Monday to Friday, with flexible working hours.
