Sales Manager- Solar BESS

Company: A leading provider of energy storage solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. The company's products are designed to enhance renewable energy integration, optimize energy consumption, and provide backup power in case of grid failures. Role type: Permanent

Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire

Compensation: £45,000 + quarterly Commission + Company car

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector, building strong relationships with clients, and driving the growth of our company. This role requires some travel.

Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base and increase revenue.
  2. Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their needs and requirements.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business objectives and providing tailored solutions.
  4. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business targets and objectives.
  5. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective clients.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure seamless client onboarding and customer satisfaction.
  7. Represent the brand at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
  8. Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline, and business development progress.

Requirements:

  1. 3 to 4 years of B2B experience in selling PV equipment.
  2. Driving Licence.
  3. Flexibility to travel across the UK frequently for client meetings and Company's organised events.
  4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
