Job Title: Sales Manager - Software (SCM / WMS / ERP)

Location: North West - 4 days working from home, 1 day in the office

Salary: £60k+ and car allowance (or opt into car scheme), uncapped bonus potential

Role Summary

As leader of the sales team, you will be responsible for driving growth across new business and account management. You will help create and execute a sales strategy for our software products, aiming to meet or exceed sales targets.

Responsibilities, Experience & Skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies and execution plans for sales teams
  • Work with the Managing Director to set and track sales targets
  • Set and adjust sales goals
  • Assess and improve team processes
  • Develop quotas and assign territories
  • Provide sales forecasts
  • Coach and mentor team members
  • Collaborate on complex sales bids
  • Foster a collaborative team environment
  • Assess performance and implement corrective actions
  • Recruit, hire, and train sales staff

Experience and Skills

  • Experience selling to multiple organizational levels
  • Minimum 5 years selling Distribution/ Supply Chain ERP solutions
  • Preferably 2+ years in sales management
  • Excellent communication and rapport-building skills
  • Self-motivated team player
  • Proven leadership in quota attainment
  • Degree or graduate calibre
  • Understanding of wholesale and retail distribution
  • Full driving license
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM

Remuneration

  • Competitive salary & OTE plus car allowance
  • Pension scheme with PHI and Death in Service benefits
  • 37-hour workweek (Monday-Thursday 9-5.30, Friday 9-5)
