We are looking to recruit a driven, ambitious individual to join our SEAT/CUPRA team in Grimsby.

This is a fabulous opportunity to join a family-run business in the top 50 and represent one of our fantastic manufacturer partners. This role offers a competitive basic salary of £30,000 with an achievable OTE of £60,000.

About You

We are seeking an experienced and talented Sales Manager for our York dealership. Reporting to the Dealer Principal, your responsibilities will include managing the sales team, achieving targets, maintaining operational standards, and ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.

You will play a key role in identifying business opportunities and supporting the dealership's long-term growth. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, a natural leader, and capable of creating a customer-focused environment through communication, team building, and coaching.

Key Objectives as Sales Manager
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through a motivated sales team.
  • Manage training and development to improve performance and support career growth.
  • Delegate responsibilities and monitor progress.
  • Work with the Dealer Principal to develop policies for profitability.
  • Create strategies to increase business and meet sales goals.
  • Oversee sales campaigns and promotional activities to maximize sales and enhance the retailer's image.
  • Identify opportunities for procedural improvements.
  • Build relationships with financial institutions and relevant businesses.
  • Maximize sales and profitability through customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to support long-term marketing objectives.

Handle customer complaints professionally and involve others when necessary.

Hours

Your working hours are Monday to Saturday, with shifts covering 8:00am to 6:30pm, 9:00am to 5:00pm on Saturdays, and 10:30am to 4:00pm on Sundays. The average workweek over four weeks is approximately 41.5 hours.
