We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead sales efforts across key market segments, ensuring alignment with our business and profit goals. The ideal candidate will manage daily sales operations, drive strategic initiatives to enhance our market position, and contribute to the overall success of the Melia portfolio in the EMEA region.

**Salary from £38- 39 900annually plus 15% Bonus**

Responsibilities
will include, but are not limited to:

Lead and execute the hotel’s sales strategy, ensuring alignment with the Plan of Action and annual sales targets, focusing on high-potential market segments.

Support budget planning and cost control, working closely with the Cluster Director of Sales and General Manager.

Manage assigned accounts to secure business, develop tailored client solutions, and ensure profitability targets are met.

Expand and strengthen the client base by acquiring new accounts and nurturing existing ones, aiming to secure preferred or negotiated agreements.

Coordinate strategic sales initiatives and special projects to drive revenue and market share growth within the hotel's rate and positioning strategy.

Analyze sales and market data, identifying trends and initiating actions to improve performance.

Ensure consistent communication between sales teams and across Meliá properties to maximize business opportunities.

Implement required sales activity levels, including a minimum of 10 sales calls per week, and conduct annual visits to key accounts based on tier.

Represent and enhance the Meliá brand, staying informed of market developments, competitor activity, and evolving sales methods, while actively engaging with clients such as travel agencies, meeting planners, and tour operators.

  • Exceptional written & spoken English
  • Proven experience in hotel sales or hospitality management, preferably in Corporate, MSM, or Leisure segments.




  • Strong business acumen and ability to drive results in a competitive market.

  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to account management and team collaboration.
