Regional Sales Manager – Midlands and North of England

REPORTING TO:

Head of Regional Sales

REMUNERATION:

Competitive remuneration and benefits package (car allowance)

LOCATION:

Home based, preferably in the Midlands or North of England but with the ability to attend the Company’s office at Metal Box Factory,

30 Great Guildford Street, London SE1 0HS when required.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key member of the Regional Trade Sales team responsible for the growth and development of Bancroft’s representation across the UK off- and on-trade, focusing on the Midlands and North of England.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role requires a self motivated, experienced and well-connected wine industry sales professional with the ability to deliver and develop new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities will include:-

Securing new profitable accounts within both off- and on-trade groups

Developing new markets and new strategies

Building volume of key agencies

Creating customer acquisition and retention programmes.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a UK off- and on-trade focused sales role and a proven track record in successfully delivering sales growth, particularly within the Midlands and North of England. Detailed wine knowledge (WSET Diploma level) required as is the ability to meet challenging targets. Maximising existing relationships to introduce new customers is essential.

HOURS OF WORK:

Fulltime role based on 37.5 hours per week. Core operating hours are Monday to Friday inclusive, between 9:00am and 5:30pm (allowing an hour for lunch) although flexibility is required to work around the commitments of the business subject to agreement with the senior management.

Duties and responsibilities of this role will include but not be limited to the above and will vary in response to the requirements of Bancroft Wines’ operations at any given stage.
