Sales Manager (Maternity Cover)

We are seeking a Sales Manager to join our Management Team at Leonardo Hotel and Conference Venue Hinckley Island. The successful candidate will become an integral member of the Proactive Sales Team, delivering excellence to our valued customers in the Sales Department.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within the M&E industry in a similar role. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing an in-depth understanding of the local hotel markets to increase revenue generation through focused sales activities.
  • Ensuring revenue and market share growth via existing and new customers, developing a network of contacts to cross-sell the group.
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Negotiating new business contracts to maximize profits.
  • Hosting corporate nights to reward current clients and explore new leads.
  • Maximizing company reports to identify new local corporate leads.
  • Forecasting and tracking key account metrics.
  • Producing accurate and timely reports.
  • Completing and executing the hotel's sales plan.
  • Managing a portfolio of local accounts and territory accounts.
  • Conducting telesales and campaigns to identify opportunities for hotels.
  • Supporting the conversion of key business Group and M&E Enquiries.
  • Attracting new M&E enquiries for the hotel and wider group.
  • Attending Industry events and client appointments.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date pipeline of target accounts.
  • Ensuring the use of the CRM system meets the minimum standard of use.
