We seek a talented individual to join our energetic team. As the primary contact for clients, you will drive sales by identifying and qualifying leads, working with our proactive sales team to convert leads for events and groups at this beautiful hotel. Building and maintaining relationships with industry partners like event planners, corporate clients, and agencies will be key to fostering long-term relationships, encouraging repeat business and referrals.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales success, the ability to charm and sell during site visits, via email, and over the phone. You will showcase the hotel, ensuring a seamless, personalized experience and tailored sales proposals to meet client needs.

Key responsibilities include:
  1. New Business Development: Drive new direct business, build a strong pipeline aligned with hotel strategies, and achieve sales targets with ROI tracking.
  2. Account Management: Manage corporate rate negotiations, develop key accounts, and maximize opportunities.
  3. Sales Support: Collaborate on lead conversion, support the Director of Sales, and assist in sales activities.
  4. Reporting & Analysis: Track sales performance, KPIs, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  5. Lead Generation: Research new opportunities via social media, trade shows, and market analysis.
  6. Rate Negotiation & Contract Renewal: Support rate negotiations to align with financial goals.
  7. Strategy & Reviews: Contribute to sales strategies and business development plans.
  8. Client Engagement: Lead hospitality initiatives, manage performance trackers, and utilize sales tools effectively.
  9. Representation: Represent the hotel at trade shows and industry events to build the Kimpton brand.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Sales Manager in a hotel environment.
  • Strong strategic planning skills and market segment knowledge.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with minimal supervision, maintaining high standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Delphi knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with hotel room tracking and influencing internal teams.
