Are you an accomplished sales expert with a deep understanding of the insurance market? Our client, a distinguished leader in financial data management, is seeking a collaborative senior sales professional to spearhead growth in the UK and Nordics.

The Opportunity

Since securing private equity investment in 2021, the company has experienced remarkable growth, driven by a revitalised senior leadership team. With a strong commercial team, they are expanding into the US, securing multi-million-pound deals, and maintaining a clear pipeline for future growth and expansion.

They are now seeking a collaborative senior sales professional to join their team, focusing on expanding the existing insurance sector footprint in the UK and Nordics, with the potential for further expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve annual sales targets and drive new business growth within the insurance sector.
  • Develop comprehensive campaign plans in collaboration with marketing colleagues.
  • Mentor and support the business development team to build a robust sales pipeline and convert leads into opportunities.
  • Work cross-functionally to develop and deliver value-based propositions.
  • Manage all aspects of the sales process, engaging with teams across the business to ensure success.
  • Represent the company at internal and external events, presenting to prospects and clients.
  • Participate in broader sales team activities, including strategy, pricing, and go-to-market planning.
  • Maintain high levels of sales hygiene, including timely CRM updates, meeting reports, and accurate forecasting.
  • Oversee client management throughout the onboarding process and the first year of the account.
  • Create and execute sales strategies for the insurance sector.
  • Negotiate deal structures and pricing.

What We’re Looking For:

  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services sector and regulatory landscape.
  • Strong understanding of target firms in the insurance sector, their products, and operations.
  • Proven track record of and owning the end-to-end sales process with insurance sector clients.
  • Experienced in stakeholder management and complex negotiations.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with SaaS and structured sales methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success in B2B software sales.
