Sales Manager - General Engineering/Fabrication

Location: West Midlands

Salary: c£40k + Car

Our engineering/manufacturing client is seeking a professional, driven, and hungry sales/business development person to join their team and help expand into new markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong network of contacts requiring fabrication services.

The role involves expanding the general engineering department, primarily focusing on fabrication work. The current sales approach includes internal and external teams, with site visits to provide solutions. The company can design but prefers customers with existing drawings who subcontract fabrication, to streamline processes.

Remote work is possible as long as the candidate can generate sales. The company sees potential in exploring sectors they currently do not serve, excluding Aerospace, Automotive, and Construction industries.

Requirements:

• Existing customer base or contacts in fabrication
• Ability to bring in new sales independently
• Comfort working remotely
