Job description

Are you a Sales enthusiast who puts customers at the heart of everything you do? Then this might be the right opportunity for you. We are hiring Sales Manager in Switzerland who has extensive Freight Forwarding experience. In this role, you will be responsible for developing a Book Of Business within the Branch's geographical reach by implementing the company’s commercial strategies and products with the aim of accelerating growth.

How you will contribute:

  1. Manage Book Of business ensuring constant growth in Volume, Revenue, and Margin
  2. Liaise with Branch Operations to ensure proper SOPs are customized around client needs
  3. Assist clients in their day-to-day requests related to export/import quotations/negotiations to ensure proper opportunity closing
  4. Liaise with DP World’s internal Network and external partners to guarantee the best possible service assistance
  5. Daily work on our CRM system to properly manage personal pipeline and record activity that will be the base for Field Sales Incentive Scheme

Your key qualifications:

  1. Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a similar discipline
  2. Solid and demonstrated working knowledge of the Freight Forwarding Industry
  3. Ability to research, identify, tackle, grow and close business opportunities ensuring the needed support from product and operations
  4. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet various deadlines
  5. Intermediate computer skills with a proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  6. Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate with clients, carriers, other forwarders, vendors
  7. Excellent command in English & German/French or Italian (written and spoken) – additional languages are an advantage
