Job Responsibility:

The Sales Manager will achieve targeted levels of sales by proactively targeting potential clients, while effectively managing the Event & Sales Executive and Account Manager. A background in proactive sales roles within bars, restaurants, venues, or event catering is essential for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively generate new business from various sources, including corporate clients, agents, and hospitality organisers.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Event & Sales Executive and Account Manager.
  • Cultivate and maintain excellent working relationships with prestigious venues, fostering referrals through regular communication, visits, and arranging engaging team-building events.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with corporate clients, agents, and venues to further expand the business and create lasting partnerships.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of conversion rates and other important metrics on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Apply the customer journey model to handle quotes promptly, with thoughtful follow-ups to maximise conversion rates.
  • Take charge of high-priority incoming enquiries, leveraging sales expertise to convert them into sales and meet annual targets.
  • Conduct sales audits on quotes prepared by the Event & Sales Executive and Account Manager.
  • Utilise effective sales techniques and closing skills during phone calls, face-to-face meetings, and site visits to secure clients' confirmation of services.
  • Maintain regular contact with past clients and enquiries, utilising sales prowess to generate more inquiries and secure confirmations.
  • Generate weekly and ad hoc reports for the department, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data in the system (Connector).
  • Support the implementation of Connector and ensure that all data is clean and up to date.
  • Oversee the team's activities, ensuring they achieve their goals in areas such as engaging with past clients, following up on enquiries, utilising social media, and implementing proactive sales strategies.
  • Personally manage a particular venue relationship, including venue interaction, providing quotations, and making proactive calls to nurture this important partnership.
  • Lead the team in executing daily social media activities and ensuring the sales and marketing plan is diligently followed to meet deadlines.
