Job summary

Trip.com Group is seeking a motivated Business Development Manager for EMEA & NAM to drive new client acquisition and account management. The role focuses on launching, innovating, and scaling Trip.Biz corporate travel solutions across designated markets.

You will identify opportunities, manage the sales funnel, and build strong relationships with multinational companies and SMEs. The position requires 5+ years in corporate/business development, strong TMC knowledge, and a proven sales track

Qualifications

  • A minimum 5 years experience in corporate development or business development, or in a global/local TMC, or in airline/B2B/Wholesale sales roles.
  • Detail-oriented and fast learning capacity.
  • Independent worker with minimal supervision.
  • Able to adapt communication methods to different stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of TMC operations and corporate travel solutions.
  • Ambitious and humble with a drive for success.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and related software for day-to-day operations.
  • Willingness to travel if needed.

Responsibilities

  • Promote Trip.Biz awareness and corporate travel solutions in designated markets.
  • Secure new global MNC/SME agreements and facilitate onboarding.
  • Plan, develop and execute sales plans to hit key results.
  • Collaborate with corporate clients to extend relationships and drive adoption.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (product, finance, legal, R&D, service, marketing) to meet expectations.
  • Work with global/ regional leads to drive revenue growth.
  • Deliver quarterly goals and provide excellent client service.
  • Lead cross-functional projects with product management and other teams.
  • Perform research and modeling to support key business decisions.
  • Represent Trip.Biz in destinations through seminars, events and partnerships.
  • Prepare presentations and all necessary reports.
  • Assist on additional tasks and projects as needed.

Introduction:

The EMEA & NAM Business Development Team oversees new client


acquisition and account management. The team is a fast-paced and dynamic unit focused


on sales transactions for the company. The key goal of the team is to launch, innovate, and


scale our corporate travel solutions. The Business Development manager's primary focus


will be identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining


strong relationships with key stakeholders of global multinational companies and small-


medium enterprises, developing the sales strategy, and managing the sales funnel within


designated market(s) to secure new agreements for Trip.Biz.


Responsibilities:


  • To promote Trip.Biz’s awareness and corporate travel solution to the designated markets

  • Secure the new agreement of global MNC and SME and facilitate the onboarding process

  • Plan, develop, and execute the sales plan to deliver the key results

  • Collaborate and consult with corporate clients to extend relationships, increase the user adoption rate of Trip.Biz’s Travel Solution, and optimize their investment.

  • Collaborate across Trip.Biz and Trip.com Group internal teams, including product, finance, legal, R&D, service, and marketing teams, to achieve clients’ expectations and secure new agreements as well as client retention.

  • To work closely with business leads in both global and regional teams to mutually drive revenue growth.

  • Deliver against assigned quarterly goals while prioritizing and delivering excellent client service to the clients.

  • Collaborate with Product Management and the rest of the cross-functional team to formulate and refine the product roadmap. Lead projects and initiatives as required, with the ability to guide cross-functional teams to achieve established goals and deliverables as needed.

  • Perform research, quantitative analysis, and modeling as necessary to enable key business decisions.

  • Represent Trip.Biz in the destinations to increase brand awareness and interact with local partners by launching seminars, sales activities, tradeshow participation, and industry/partner events.

  • Prepare presentation and all the necessary reports

  • Assist in additional tasks and projects when needed


Key Requirements:


  • A min. 5 years experience in corporate development, business development/or a reputable global or local TMC /or in airline, and acting in a sales function /or in B2B/Bedbanks/Wholesale as and acting in sales function

  • Detail oriental and fast learning capacity

  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Ability to adjust different communication methods depending on the stakeholders

  • Strong knowledge of TMC

  • Hungry for success but humble

  • Fluent in Excel, PowerPoint, and any other related software to help day-to-day operations

  • Willing to travel, if needed
