Job Description

  • Identify and attract new customers for domestic transportation services to meet income targets
  • Provide rate quotes for transportation inquiries from customers and freight forwarders
  • Lead and manage a team of sales executives focused on road freight, transportation, warehousing, and freight forwarding
  • Schedule and conduct weekly meetings with the sales team
  • Obtain competitive rates from various suppliers, including hauliers, co-loaders, and transportation companies
  • Respond to new shipment or storage inquiries from current customers and freight forwarders
  • Follow up on offers sent to customers
  • Maintain accurate customer and inquiry data in the CRM system
  • Arrange supplier visits to improve the company's cost-efficiency
  • Conduct visits to potential new customers
  • Perform trend analysis and market research to identify and develop target customers and markets
  • Develop and implement sales strategies on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis
  • Ensure a smooth handover of secured business to the Operations team with all necessary details
  • Prepare sales reports and participate in company-scheduled meetings and social activities
  • Commit to operating in accordance with the Safety, Health & Environmental program
  • Plan and strive to achieve annual budget targets
