Sales Manager (Construction Materials/Test - UK NORTH)

(HOME-BASED BASED IN NORTH OF ENGLAND)

A new vacancy for a Sales Manager with leading UK provider of specialist services to product developers, manufacturers & installers in Construction/Built Environment markets. Home-based in the North of England, the Sales Manager will be responsible for supporting the growth of the company by identifying, qualifying and securing predominantly new business.

Candidates for this Sales Manager role will ideally come from a Construction Materials, Product Development or Test industry background, with at least 5yrs experience in a sales/business development role selling to building product manufacturers & suppliers. The successful candidate will be a tenacious and energetic self-starter with strong networking & negotiation skills and real desire to win new business. This will be an excellent opportunity for a top-flight sales professional to join a well-established company with ambitious plans for growth over the next five years.

Key requirements:

- A background in CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS, PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT or TEST SERVICES.

- At least 5yrs experience in a high-level sales/business development role selling to UK Manufacturers or Suppliers (esp. R&D/NPD or Test laboratory-related).

- Ability to assimilate technical/engineering concepts.

- Self-starter, tenacious and energetic sales professional.
