Sales Manager - Components/Consumables

We're working with one of East Anglia's success stories on a new role to manage sales accounts, as well as contribute to the development of the sales strategy across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technical salesperson who enjoys building relationships with OEMs and distributors and is open to international travel, with opportunities to travel globally (2-3 weeks per quarter).

The role will eventually lead to managing the UK sales team. Candidates with experience selling components/consumables to OEMs/distribution, or finished products of a technical nature, are preferred.

The ability to understand technical products and target markets is essential, as customers are likely specialists in their fields. Training will be provided.

Experience in a global sales role is preferred, but candidates from international distributor management or UK-focused sales roles with distribution experience are also considered.

This is a hunter role, requiring proactive efforts in acquiring new clients and partners.

Key duties include:

  • Developing annual sales strategies
  • Identifying growth opportunities with new distributors and OEMs
  • Reviewing existing customers for growth potential
  • Reporting to senior management on progress

The ideal candidate is a technically minded senior salesperson with management experience, willing to travel overseas, and interested in a role with growth potential.

The role is based in Ely, working 4 days a week in the office, with travel to the Ely office required. Interested candidates should send their CV for further discussion.
