VANRATH has partnered with a global car dealership and manufacturer. The organization is recruiting for a Sales Manager position to cover the Commercial Vehicle team. The successful candidate will report directly to the General Manager.

The successful candidate will have proven Sales Manager experience and will lead a team to meet and exceed all relevant KPIs, providing effective financial solutions for a range of customers by supporting and developing Business Managers. You will maximize opportunities in new and used car sales and support products across the CMA.

Location

Mallusk, Newtownabbey

Salary

Negotiable basic + OTE earnings + Company Car + fantastic benefits (industry-leading), company pension scheme, 30 days holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs on new and used CV sales
  • Maximize opportunities to provide value-added sales for customers
  • Help the Sales team maximize profitability on all new vehicle and associated sales opportunities
  • Provide a positive impression of the company to a diverse customer base, delivering a positive customer experience in line with company standards
  • Anticipate and identify customer needs, meet and exceed them through relationship building, and resolve customer issues effectively
  • Work professionally and ethically with customers to build long-term profitable relationships
  • Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and communicate it effectively to customers
  • Grow and develop the Sales team in line with the company ethos

The Ideal Candidate:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar management role within the motor trade
  • Experience in franchised car dealerships
  • Ability to coach and develop the team to achieve potential
  • Full and valid UK driving licence
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven track record in delivering finance and insurance income within the sector
