Job summary

Kincaid International Ltd is seeking a Sales Manager for the Civil Engineering sector in the North East. This is an established territory with a strong client base; you will manage field sales and run solutions-based discussions with clients and the engineering team.

Ideally you have civils/construction industry experience, a proven field-sales track record, excellent communication skills, and a full UK driving licence.

Sales Manager - Civil Engineering

Our client is a long established and hightyly successful, national supplier of technical engineering solutions to the construction and civil engineering industries. They provide a range of engineering systems that are an integral element of numerous successfully delivered projects for both main and sub contractor clients.

They are currently looking to recruit a highly motivated Sales Manager for their North East region. This is an existing territory, so there are plenty of clients to speak to from day 1.

They need someone with the following experience:

• A background selling into the civils or construction industry.
• A field sales background - the proven ability to get out of the office, meet clients and discuss their requirements.
• Technical sales background - this is a solutions based sales role, so listening to clients, discussing what they need and liaising with your engineering team to make it happen
• Target focused, with the drive and determination to meet or exceed targets.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Full UK driving licence.
• A civil engineering qualification would be a plus.

In return for the above, our client will offer a basic salary in the range of 42k- 45k negotiable on experience, plus car plus OTE of c. 8k- 10k.
