Job description

Based in the South and South-West of England, Snows Motor Group is an AM Top 50 automotive retailer covering 20 brands across 54 franchises. We differentiate ourselves from our competitors by delivering an exceptional level of service to both our customers and manufacturing partners. Due to expansion, we are currently looking to recruit a Sales Manager to join our new BYD dealership based in Chichester. This role focuses on ensuring the new Sales Team drives sales forward.

BYD is the fastest-growing car manufacturer in the UK, and Chichester will become the 4th BYD Dealership for Snows Motor Group. With a rapidly expanding model range and innovative technology, the BYD brand is poised for significant growth.

We seek an enthusiastic, dynamic, and organized individual who is excited by the opportunity to build their own team and grow in line with BYD's aspirations.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving sales and financial targets by developing the Sales Department Plans and Budgets according to the Brand's criteria. This includes:

  1. Managing Sales Executives and Sales Administrators to meet goals and achieve high sales performance.
  2. Overseeing product knowledge transfer to ensure the team is up-to-date and well-trained.
  3. Developing and achieving a Department Profit Plan, covering all financial aspects including business plans, marketing and advertising budgets, operating expenses, capital budgets, and sales forecasts.
  4. Overseeing the department’s administrative control systems to ensure compliance.
  5. Ensuring effective handling of all inquiries, following the correct sales processes, and proper recording of transactions.

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday 08:30 – 18:00 (with a 1-hour lunch), Saturday 08:30 – 17:00 (with a 1-hour lunch), Sunday 10:00 – 16:00 (rota basis).
