Job description

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to join a growing and reputable engineering firm, contributing to the commercial management of high-value capital equipment projects within an engaging engineering and manufacturing environment.

As the Sales Manager, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  1. Managing sales territories
  2. Achieving sales targets
  3. Building strong relationships with other businesses and key stakeholders
  4. Managing existing clients and distributors
  5. Identifying and seeking new sales opportunities
  6. New Business Development
  7. The ability to carry out negotiations to ensure projects are commercially viable
  8. Preparing monthly forecasts and reports

It would be advantageous to hold a relevant degree within commercial, business, or engineering fields and have a proven track record and experience within Technical Sales Management (or similar) in an engineering business.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as you will be building relationships at all levels to create success. It is important to have a positive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach, along with the ability to travel frequently and build robust relationships.

You may have worked as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, UK Sales Manager, Technical Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, or similar roles.
