Job description

Our Client is a leading supplier and distributor of Chemicals with a turnover of over £100m. They are now seeking a Sales Manager or Business Manager - Bulk Chemical Distribution. The role will require regular contact and visits to customers in the UK. This position will be field/home based and location within the UK is flexible. It is a full-time permanent role reporting to the Sales Directors and CEO.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Promoting a range of bulk Chemicals to new and existing accounts across the UK, predominantly Inorganics and Minerals
  2. Liaising with clients' technical and commercial departments
  3. Sample & trial approvals
  4. Formulating commercial contracts with supply-chain aspects
  5. Assist with exhibitions

Qualifications and Experience

  1. Educated to BSc level (or equivalent)
  2. A proven track record in sales and relative experience in the Chemical Industry
  3. Good communication skills
  4. Ability to use initiative and act independently
  5. Pro-active and energetic
  6. Results driven
  7. Computer literate
  8. Full driving licence

In return, our Client is offering a competitive package including a basic salary of c£65,000 per annum plus car allowance, generous bonus/commission and benefits.
