Maybourne owns and manages Claridge's, The Connaught, The Berkeley, The Emory, The Maybourne Beverly Hills, and The Maybourne Riviera.

At Maybourne, it is our purpose to create stories of distinction, and we know that truly memorable experiences are made up of countless small moments—moments where the extraordinary becomes reality.

We are building on the reputation of our heritage properties by pursuing a global vision to lead the future of luxury. This includes curating distinctive and enriching experiences, developing our digital capabilities and insights, enhancing our guest experience, and expanding our portfolio worldwide.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

The Sales Manager, Belgravia will generate revenue from local and global companies, working closely with the Regional Director of Sales. You will develop strategic sales plans to deliver revenue from consortia, corporate transient, and group segments. The role involves becoming a storyteller for Maybourne and conducting face-to-face sales activities such as site inspections, Fam Trips, and presentations across London properties, with a focus on The Berkeley & The Emory.

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Building strong relationships with leisure, concierge, and corporate accounts within your regions, covering all company areas including group, events, leisure, and corporate business.
  • Conducting proactive sales calls, assessing potential, and arranging appointments.
  • Carrying out an average of 8 meetings and show rounds at hotel facilities, introducing clients to operational managers and GMs, including evening entertainment, with all activities logged in SalesForce and follow-up actions taken.
  • Supporting Familiarisation Trips to keep clients updated on hotel offerings.
  • Collaborating with Groups, Sales, Revenue Management, and operational teams to convert bookings.
  • Showcasing Maybourne’s stories of distinction through fam trips and on-property experiences.
  • Maintaining thorough product knowledge of all hotels and brand pillars.
  • Identifying new business sources through competitor analysis and offline/online research, following up on leads.
  • Completing weekly sales activities, expenses, and reports promptly.
  • Ensuring smooth handovers of booked business to operational teams for event coordination.
  • Delivering sales presentations and representing Maybourne at industry showcases.
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activities, recommending strategic responses.
  • Providing feedback to operational management on service delivery.
  • Maintaining confidentiality regarding client information.
  • Adhering to departmental standards such as LQA standards.

Successful candidates will have:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and Opera.
  • Previous sales experience.
  • Dedication to Maybourne’s standards of quality.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer care skills.
  • Professional appearance and confident manner.
  • A passion for luxury service and understanding of the ultra-luxury market.

Who thrives here?

You are passionate, driven, warm, collaborative, ambitious, detail-oriented, curious, and seeking a long-term career rather than just a job.
