Job summary

Perrys Motor Sales Ltd is recruiting a Sales Manager to lead our car sales operations across one of the UK’s largest car retailer groups. You will control the end-to-end sales process, manage stock, and drive pre-determined targets while upholding our People First values.

We seek someone with strong interpersonal skills, a passion for customer service, and a full UK driving licence. Weekend availability is expected as part of retail hours.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with customers.
• Demonstrated passion for delivering outstanding service.
• Experience with Stellantis brands is a plus.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Control all aspects of the sales process and stock management.
• Achieve pre-determined sales targets while implementing the sales process.
• Manage electronic diary and schedule test drives, finance discussions, and new customer prospecting.

About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity available for an individual who comes from or is interested in a sales background alongside experience of managing sales operations in a volume franchise. You will be responsible for controlling all aspects of the sales process, stock management, and achieving pre-determined sales targets whilst fully implementing our controlled sales process and electronic diary management system.

As a Perrys Sales Manager, you will communicate with customers to support and understand their needs, on their journey to buying a new car. Delivering not just a new car to them but a complete package to suit their driving needs. You can expect to cover a wide range of tasks to support the customer journey, from arranging test drives, to discussing finance options, to prospecting for new customers.

About you:

• You will have good interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to listen to our customers needs and take pride in engaging with people and have a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Experience with Stellantis brands an advantage.
• Open to new ideas and committed to doing the right thing for our customers, treating them fair.
• You will have a full UK Driving licence.
• A willingness to work Saturdays
