Sales Manager

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing the sales activities and processes of both the internal sales team and the Sales Support team within your business unit to achieve the BU country sales budget and partner service expectations. Your primary responsibilities include sales management, performance management, coaching, and process improvement.

Day To Day

  1. Manage a team of sales members responsible for partner (vendor/dealer) NBV, profitability, and penetration rate.
  2. Implement and execute sales plans, policies, processes, procedures, and targets aligned with GBU/market strategy.
  3. Leverage data and business intelligence to improve processes and team performance.
  4. Coach sales teams to effectively meet customer business needs.
  5. Onboard, train, develop, and performance manage direct reports.
  6. Monitor team performance and sales originations.
  7. Build and maintain strong stakeholder networks internally and externally to deliver partner expectations.

Measures

  1. Achievement of sales targets through effective sales management.
  2. Employee and partner survey scores.
  3. Process delivery metrics such as time to credit approval and time to payment.
  4. Management of local programs where applicable.
  5. Driving the use of digital solutions.

Essentials

  • Sales management experience.
  • Coaching and development skills.
  • Ability to motivate members using sales data analysis.
  • Work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Proactive and responsible attitude.

Extras

  • Experience in equipment leasing and vendor finance is preferred.
