The Team:

The Commercial team handles sales, operations, commercial product strategy, and partnerships for News UK’s brands, including The Sun, The Times, and The Sunday Times.

Your Role:

Our Sales Managers sell market-leading advertising solutions across digital and print platforms, including display, branded content, video, and programmatic channels. They focus on building strong relationships at all levels within trading and client services.

Role Objectives:

  1. Develop, pitch, and deliver cross-platform advertising solutions targeting our diverse audience.
  2. Build and maintain relationships within your agency and client base, focusing on investment, planning, digital, programmatic, and publishing teams.
  3. Enhance external profile through presentations, meetings, hosting, attending agency events, and being a visible representative of News UK in Manchester.
  4. Utilize News UK’s first-party data to understand audience and product insights for revenue generation.
  5. Collaborate to develop innovative commercial ideas to increase spend across platforms.
  6. Work with digital and print teams to ensure campaign delivery, timeliness, and performance.
  7. Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales cycle, including post-campaign analysis.
  8. Define growth objectives for your agency portfolio with a clear business plan.
  9. Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and collaborate with other departments via CRM.
