Recruit4Staff are proud to be working with their client, a leading UK designer & manufacturer, in their search for a permanent Sales Manager to work in their Wrexham-based head office.

What our client is offering for the successful Sales Manager:

  • Hours of work: 8:30 am – 5 pm Monday to Friday

The Role - Sales Manager:

  • Drive sales to increase customer base both in the UK and overseas as well as oversee internal sales operations.
  • Provide Project Management, Commercial Sales Support, and Customer Relationship Management to ensure the sales process runs smoothly and any issues are dealt with professionally and efficiently.
  • Regular UK travel as well as the possibility of European travel.
  • Manage other members of the Sales team, ensuring the company and customer requirements and objectives are met.
  • Develop and implement sales administration procedures - including a CRM system, and sales follow-up calls.
  • Responsible for all aspects of customer service – managing and implementing continuous improvement.
  • Manage Sales accounts on a day-to-day basis and visit clients/prospects as and when required.
  • Prepare Quotations and liaise with the Engineering Team to ensure layout/product designs and technical quotations are delivered on time.
  • Raising Sales Invoices and monitoring customer payments to ensure it is in line with the agreed terms and conditions.
  • Full responsibility for updating and monitoring trade price lists for UK and International customers.
  • Involvement with marketing activities, and attending Exhibitions and Trade Shows when required.
  • Production of sales report information, including Sales Forecasts.
  • To make suggestions for new products - either suggested by customers or from observations of the market and trends.
  • Attend Sales Meetings and New Product Development Meetings when required.

What our client is looking for in a Sales Manager:

  • Experienced in a similar role - ESSENTIAL
  • Must have experience in B2B sales and come from a technical products background - ESSENTIAL
  • Ability to understand technical drawings
  • Clean UK driving license - ESSENTIAL
  • Must be proactive in their sales approach and be willing to travel for business
