Sales Manager - Structural Steel / Metalwork
Wolverhampton

The Highfield Company are proud to be working exclusively with a leading structural steel fabricator delivering standout projects across the UK. We're on the lookout for an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to take ownership of sales activity across their structural steel and architectural metalwork division.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong technical background in steel fabrication and a passion for business development to play a key role in the company's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work closely with the estimating team to follow up on bids and tenders, ensuring a proactive approach to winning work.
  2. Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across structural steel and metalwork sectors.
  3. Set and deliver on sales objectives in line with the company's commercial strategy.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and consultants.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams including marketing and design to support business development initiatives.
  6. Monitor project budgets and contribute to commercially sound, cost-effective solutions.
  7. Spot opportunities for efficiencies and cost savings throughout the project lifecycle.
What We're Looking For
  1. 5+ years' experience within structural steel and/or architectural metalwork sales.
  2. A proven track record of securing projects and building lasting client relationships.
  3. Solid understanding of fabrication, installation, and structural steel processes.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  5. Organised, driven, and commercially focused.
  6. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
