The role involves managing key accounts, developing customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate has proven experience in timber frame sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently. This position is field-based with occasional office visits.
Sales Manager – Timber Frame & Roof Truss | Scotland & North England
Location: Field-based with 1–2 days in the Irvine office

We’re working with a leading manufacturer of timber frame and roof truss systems who have recently invested in a state-of-the-art facility in Irvine, complete with advanced robotic technology. With a strong order book and a well-established customer base across Scotland and the North of England, they’re now looking to appoint a Sales Manager to manage and grow their regional presence.
This is a standalone field sales position reporting to the Head of Timber Frame. You’ll be responsible for nurturing key accounts, developing strong relationships with housebuilders and construction partners, and identifying new business opportunities across your territory.
Manage and grow a strong, established customer base (70% account management / 30% new business)
Maintain excellent levels of customer service and ensure repeat business
Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders up to director level
Plan and manage your own journey and sales pipeline across the region
Work closely with internal teams and the Head of Timber Frame to align on goals and delivery
Proven experience in timber frame or modular build sales is essential
Experience selling roof trusses is highly desirable
A self-motivated, dependable individual who thrives in a standalone role
Strong communicator with a consultative sales approach
Comfortable working independently but collaborative by nature
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Based within Scotland or North England and able to travel regionally
