Our client operates in the manufacturing sector, supplying and manufacturing products for various clients across multiple industry sectors. They are now looking to strengthen their Sales team by recruiting a Sales Manager.

Role Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow sales with existing customers / key accounts
- Support operations team in order fulfillment and assisting them in their duties
- Resolve customer disputes/issues regarding quality expectations, product shortages, damages, urgent and late deliveries
- Generate leads, contact prospective customers via phone, email, and visit them as needed for business development
- Prepare and submit sales reports as required by management
- Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs
- Provide daily reports on field sales success and communicate the Voice of the Customer (VOC) data to superiors
- Demonstrate good sales-management skills suitable for a B2B environment
- Post-probation, work 3 days per week in the office, with up to 2 days of travel per week to meet customers and develop business
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience in B2B product sales and managing key accounts; candidates with higher service sales backgrounds need not apply
- Willingness to travel at least 2-3 days per week for customer visits, product demonstrations, etc.
- Confident communicator with a positive attitude, polite but firm telephone manner, and ability to build strong relationships
- Commercial, common-sense approach
- Ability to operate efficiently under pressure without sacrificing quality
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills
- Attention to detail with awareness of the bigger picture
- Own car and UK driving license required
Additional Notes:
Experience in the Packaging Industry is an advantage but not essential.
