Description
LOCALiQ are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Manager to join our Wales division. The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading a sales team and driving the growth of our digital marketing solutions. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to team members.
  • Set clear performance expectations and ensure accountability through regular performance reviews.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and grow market share.
  • Identify key markets, opportunities, and potential clients to expand LOCALiQ’s presence.
  • Work closely with the senior leadership team to align sales strategies with business goals.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses to understand their unique marketing needs.
  • Deliver consultative sales presentations and proposals, showcasing LOCALiQ’s digital marketing solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and strategies to help them achieve their marketing goals.
Product Knowledge & Expertise:
  • Maintain a deep understanding of LOCALiQ’s product portfolio and industry trends.
  • Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and techniques to provide clients with expert advice.
  • Ensure that the sales team is well-versed in the product offerings and can confidently communicate their value.
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
  • Monitor and analyse team and individual sales performance to ensure targets are met.
  • Use CRM tools to track sales activity, pipeline, and results.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance, challenges, and market insights.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Proven experience in sales management or senior sales roles, preferably within digital marketing, media, or related industries.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong client relationships and deliver consultative sales.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make strategic decisions.
  • Passion for digital marketing and a desire to stay at the forefront of industry trends.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales performance tools.
  • The successful candidate must be based within a commutable distance to Newport, which will serve as the main office and primary base for this role. The position will involve biweekly travel to Haverfordwest and occasional travel across the South Wales territory to support the team as needed.
  • Must have access to own vehicle for business use and a full UK driving licence.
