Job summary

Toyota Edinburgh West is seeking a Sales Manager to develop and implement sales plans, monitor market trends, and drive merchandising initiatives across the dealer network.

You will lead a team, manage expenses, oversee invoicing and contracts, and partner with the General Manager to set performance targets and ensure service excellence for all customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and implementing sales plans based on market research.
• Ability to lead and develop sales teams and ensure safety policies.
• Strong focus on customer care and service excellence.
• Proficiency in managing administration, invoicing, and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Sales Strategy & Market Research: Develop and implement effective sales, merchandising, and promotional plans, based on ongoing market research to assess product and service trends.
• Team Management & Development: Oversee colleague engagement, job descriptions, training, and health & safety, ensuring effective team performance and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Inventory & Financial Control: Manage vehicle inventory and purchase used vehicles within stock limits, maintaining regular inspections and controlling expenses to achieve profitability.
• Customer Care & Service Excellence: Foster a culture of customer care in the Sales department, ensuring a consistently high level of service for all customers.
• Administrative Efficiency & Compliance: Ensure smooth administration systems, oversee invoicing, manage headcount plans, and consult with the General Manager on legal contracts and performance targets.
