  • Trading System: A centralized feed management tool that provides operators with access to core and premium betting content. This includes pricing, data, virtual sports, and niche betting markets from OpenBet’s proprietary products and third-party providers.
  • LEAP (Virtual Sports): A comprehensive virtual sports content solution, available as part of the Trading System integration or as a standalone product.

The Goal

The Sales Manager, EMEA Content, will play a crucial role in driving business growth for OpenBet’s SaaS content products across the EMEA region. This individual will focus on business development, market penetration, and customer acquisition for BetBuilder, Trading System, and LEAP products, helping operators enhance their offerings and improve customer engagement. Reporting to the VP of Global Content and SaaS Sales, the Sales Manager will be instrumental in growing the customer base, particularly by targeting emerging markets and established EMEA players.

What You'll Be Doing

Sales Strategy and Execution

  • Develop and implement a sales plan to achieve and exceed revenue targets for OpenBet’s content products across EMEA, focusing on customer acquisition, upselling, and cross-selling.
  • Use data-driven insights to identify high-potential markets, prioritize leads, and adjust strategies to optimize results.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create tailored sales campaigns and support go-to-market initiatives for new product launches and feature updates.

Pipeline Management and Business Development

  • Actively generate and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent growth in opportunities and successful conversions across all sales stages.
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities, balancing the acquisition of new customers with the expansion of existing accounts.
  • Leverage CRM tools to track sales activities, maintain up-to-date records, and ensure transparency and accuracy in sales forecasting and reporting.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs, adjusting tactics as necessary to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded consistently.

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Teamwork

  • Work closely with product, marketing, and customer success teams to align on sales strategies, provide market feedback, and ensure that customer needs are communicated effectively
  • Work collaboratively with account management and customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding, high satisfaction, and strong client retention.
  • Participate in regular training and strategy sessions, sharing insights and collaborating on best practices with the global sales team to foster continuous improvement.
  • Actively contribute to the refinement of sales processes, strategies, and documentation to support operational excellence.

Market Knowledge and Continuous Learning

  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, competitor strategies, and regulatory changes within the EMEA gaming and SaaS markets.
  • Position OpenBet as an industry thought leader by staying informed on emerging market needs and proactively offering clients innovative solutions.
  • Regularly engage in product training to maintain expertise in OpenBet’s offerings, understanding product value propositions and integration capabilities thoroughly.
