Sales Manager - c£50,000 - £55,000 & Bonus - Greater Manchester

This is a brand-new role for the business, created to support their next phase of growth targeted towards the major retailers.

This would suit a sales manager or business development manager who can win new business quickly and can deliver a strong 5-year sales strategy.

You’ll be working with some really cool brands across the food industry!

The Candidate

  • Proven background selling into food service / retailers / B2B across the UK.
  • You must have the right to work in the UK to apply.
  • Understanding the technical requirements within food manufacturing, whether this be from a food science or culinary point of view is hugely advantageous.
  • This would suit someone with a senior sales background from a big hitter that supplies meals to the UK retailer market and can bring on board industry contacts.
  • Candidate must be able to give strong examples of listings won and YOY growth.

The Role

  • Increasing volume, market share and profitability of the business.
  • Successfully winning new business.
  • Proactively manage Key Accounts, including client visits, gap identification, and identifying product issues the customer is having.
  • Management of all development projects inclusive of project pipeline to support new business in line with customer requirements and development brief guidelines.
  • Develop consumer marketing plans for the products in line with the business’s overall strategy.
  • Leading customer presentations for the business in conjunction with Culinary and NPD.
  • Ensure any/all ambassadors remain completely focused and committed to the growth of the products.
