Job Description

This is a full-time position reporting directly into the General Manager. Our Sales and Retention Managers are responsible for supporting them and the wider team in the successful operation of the gym, with a specific responsibility for driving new member sales, maximising retention, and overall growth of the live member movement through various strategies inside and outside of the gym.

  • Drive revenue across membership sales, products, and secondary revenue lines
  • Deliver monthly sales presentations to management
  • Build relationships with local businesses to develop partnerships
  • Develop #WeMoveBusinesses membership opportunities
  • Lead by example on reception and the gym floor to enhance member experience
  • Support national focuses and incentives like #WorkoutWednesday & #WeCommunicate
  • Provide honest, constructive feedback to support team development
  • Assist the General Manager with operational tasks including Health & Safety, Facilities, Maintenance, and Recruitment
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
  • Show passion for health, fitness, and wellness
  • Exhibit strong leadership qualities
  • Adapt communication style as needed
  • Maintain a positive, solutions-driven mindset
  • Act as a member champion with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Be driven and ambitious, eager to learn and develop
  • Be flexible in working hours and location, including weekends and Bank Holidays when required
