Sales Manager - Packaging

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our established team of five sales professionals. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, and working closely with the Managing Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and maintaining strong client relationships in the packaging sector. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Evesham, and candidates must live within a commutable distance away.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of five sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients in the fresh food industry.
• Identify new business opportunities and drive growth in line with company strategy.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless customer service and product delivery.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports using Sage.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, particularly in corrugated packaging, film, and bag solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a sales leadership role within the fresh food industry.
• Strong understanding of corrugated packaging, films, and bags used in food production and distribution.
• Proficient in using Sage or similar ERP/CRM systems.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and team leadership skills.
• Must live within 30 to 45 minutes of Evesham and be available to work on-site Monday to Friday.
